As a Lawyer and farmer, I’ve always seen parallels between the fields of Law and agriculture. Just as farming demands knowledge, patience, and perseverance, so does the practice of Law. Under the tutelage of Mr. T. Raghavan, a titan in corporate law, I honed my skills and found my passion in Corporate Law’s intricate maze.

With each case I undertook, I invested not just my time, but my dedication to excellence. I firmly believe that wisdom and experience hold greater value than mere monetary gain. Many of the cases I fought have since been cited as precedents, a testament to the enduring impact of diligent advocacy.

The “Sangha” case, spanning nearly five decades, stands as a milestone in my professional journey. To witness its conclusion in 2023, having been involved from its inception, fills me with immense pride and gratitude.

Throughout, I’ve upheld unwavering standards of professionalism, ethics, and transparency. Building our client base on clear communication and consistent deliverables, we’ve sought to provide lasting solutions grounded in integrity.

Contrary to popular belief, Law is far from monotonous. It’s a dynamic realm that thrives on innovation and adaptability. I have always encouraged my juniors / team mates to equip themselves with court craft. Succulent arguments and keeping calm are key to winning a case. I would read and re-read the cases and challenge my interns / associates to come up with out of the box solutions. Inspiration often strikes in unexpected places – even behind the wheel!

With my daughter Subathra joining the firm, we embarked on a transformative journey from a sole proprietorship to a thriving Limited Liability Partnership (LLP). Evolving our services to meet the evolving needs of our clients, we’ve pioneered in corporate law as a one stop destination covering compliance, due diligence, Civil litigation, non -litigation, Intellectual Property Rights to Technology laws, Cyber security , Data Privacy, Energy and Sustainability laws and many more. The “Law Tree” was introduced as an online newsletter covering a wide range of information of laws nationally and internationally. ‘Tete-a-tete’ showcases a crisp yet enlightening discussion on a legal issue of relevance. Besides, AKM’s channel on  YouTube contains short videos educating public on legal rights and knowledge  The latest addition – “Qikcee” the IPR newsletter covers all interesting updates on the ever dynamic landscape of IPR, protection, branding and more. 

As we celebrate the 100th edition of “The Law Tree,” The newsletter, like our firm, continues to evolve, embracing change as a catalyst for growth and relevance in a dynamic legal landscape.
