Popularly known as AKM, Mr. Mylsamy is a legal luminary with six decades of unblemished and enviable legal practice. An icon with enlightened thoughts and absolute simplicity.

I have had the opportunity of interacting with him from both sides – Bar and Bench.

My interaction with him began since my days as the Member, Company Law Board. A legal professional who was thorough not only in fact but also law. The decorum and decency maintained during his arguments / submissions in Court are testimony to his personality. Mr. AKM fights for his clients but never with opposite side. He gained the confidence of the Bar as well the Bench, maintaining healthy relationship with Judges never taking advantage of his position.

A champion of Alternate Dispute Resolution mechanism, his untiring efforts in settling the famous “Sangha case” fought before the Hon’ble Madras High Court and other Forums nearly for 45 years speak for itself.  

When I thought of pursuing legal practice, after my tenure in Company Law Board, the dignity and respect shown by Mr. AKM made me associate with him professionally. As an active member of the Advisory Board,  I have seen the firm grow to heights. Mr. AKM is responsible for the success of several of his juniors. His juniors and colleagues have a lot to emulate form him. 

A regular reader of Law Journals that sharpened his legal acumen, Mr. AKM is blessed with eidetic memory power of citations of various Courts. 

When not practicing law, Mr. AKM is a farmer, managing his ancestral lands enjoying idyllic farm life. Always well dressed and great lover of cars, Mr. Mylsamy is a force to reckon with.
