The Apex Court categorized the rights of lessees who are third parties to Banks seeking to enforce SARFAESI provisions against Lessors who borrowed loans and defaulted payment.
In March 2023, the UK Parliament passed the Genetic Technology (Precision Breeding) Act with the objective of regulating the niche area of precision breeding – modifying the DNA of plants and animals to obtain newer varieties / breeds.
While gambling is mostly illegal in Japan, there are exceptions like pachinko parlors where players can win tokens instead of money. These tokens can then be exchanged for prizes or cash at separate establishments, creating a legal loophole that allows gambling to flourish in a unique way.
